Slam Entertainment Caught Up with “Kam Dutchie“. Checkout what He has to say in His Interview Below:

Slam Ent: What is your name? Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an Artist?

Kam Dutchie: Kam Dutchie, Out the streets of Atlanta, where I grew up the toughest places, hard way of coming up but made it thru.

Slam Ent: How did you come up with your Stage name?

Kam Dutchie: Now I OFFICIALLY knew I had a different look or a alter ego form. Like i was different everybody always told me that and I guess “Kam Dutchie” described the different element I carry. You know, most say other artists which is also for me (T.I., 2pac,Lil Wanye) But it was my struggle, my pain and involving myself thru music help me express the feelings I had growing up and learning the art, history of music inspired me a lot to be motivated.

Slam Ent: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration?

Kam Dutchie: I just let the music consume me, put one in the air and listen to my instrumentals for a bit. Once I am in that creative space I start listening to oldies til I come across a sample that matches my current vibe.

 

Slam Ent: Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?

Kam Dutchie: Basically, the single “Bout A Check” debuted digitally everywhere. Major Distribution by the way…LOL(Sept.8th)Such as (ITunes,AppleMusic,Spotify,Netflix,Deezer, AWA,IHEARTRADIO) list goes on, but US as the G7ENT/Universal Music Group with the F.S.T.H. camp we working in the mix on promos,shows,etc.
So with that going on the F.S.T.H. DOCUMENTARY will be in the mix soon to drop mid Feb 2018 expressing my story and others and what it means for us to be here coming where we came from.

Slam Ent: What should fans look forward to in 2018?

Kam Dutchie: Alot is in the mix of the year 2018, this year we was grinding doing what we had to do as independent artists and 2017 was a year of STRUGGLE but we pull thru…Expect BIG THINGS 2018….WE APPRECIATE ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT OF 2017….THANK YOU #SALUTE!
