Black girl kicked out of school for wearing “Black Lives Matter” T-Shirt.
A 6-year-old black girl was reportedly kicked out of daycare for wearing a ‘Black Lives Matter’ T-shirt.
6-year-old Journei Brockman had apparently been attending ‘His Kids Preschool’ in Russellville, Arkansas for the past 6 months. However, on friday, her mother was told that Journei Brockman was no longer welcome at the school.
Deval Brockman, Journei’s mother, was reportedly contacted by a staff member at the daycare and told her that she wasn’t in support for the ‘Black Lives Matter’ T-shirt. The daycare staff went on asking that Journei Brockman doesn’t wear it to school again.
Deval Brockman tells Fox 16:
“She was like ‘I don’t like it, I don’t agree with it’, and I would prefer it if you didn’t send her to school in it again,”.
Journei Brockman later returned back to school on a different day wearing a shirt with a fist on it.
