Slam Entertainment Caught Up with “Nadia Elmistikawy“. Checkout what She has to say in Her Interview Below:
Slam Ent: What is your name? Where did you grow up? What made you decide to become an artist?
Nadia Elmistikawy: My name’s Nadia Elmistikawy. I was born and raised in New Jersey until I was 11, when I moved to Southern California and began middle school. That’s when I started choir, which led me to years of practicing opera. In high school, I started to discover music that really spoke to me on a more personal level and that’s when I knew I wanted to become a musician.
Slam Ent: How did you come up with your stage name?
Nadia Elmistikawy: Elmistikawy is a long last name.. I figured we should cut to the chase and say Nadia E.
Slam Ent: Where do you usually gather songwriting inspiration?
Nadia Elmistikawy: I’m lucky to work with Will Harlan because his own writing really speaks to me. We feed off of eachother and he’s given me a blueprint to build upon my own skills.
Slam Ent: Any new upcoming projects that you want to talk about?
Nadia Elmistikawy: We’re currently focusing on the making of our video for our single “stainless” and we expect it to be available to everyone early 2018.
Slam Ent: What should fans look forward to in 2018?
Nadia Elmistikawy: We’re dropping a few new things early next year. You can expect a new video for “Stainless”, a new EP “Crack The Sky”, and we have a tour planned for the spring and summer.
